Tidbits of Joy #102 - Maternal Magic

Dear AdNet Employees, Clients, and Friends:

Spring is finally here and so is Mother’s Day! It’s time to see the pleasant eruption of color and budding around us. Spring is filled with new beginnings and hope which is important for us to focus on in a time that is topsy turvy in most places we look. Where I find the most peace is with writing and being out in nature. This year, I take more walks and sit in the quiet of nature which keeps me grounded. Each day I am filled with gratitude for the small corner of peace that I experience when I am surrounded with love. I feel my mom’s spirit all the time and often say “Hi Mom!” throughout the day to keep her spirit close. She’s always “on call” for me when I need her to listen. 😉

Maternal energy comes from any individual who shares wisdom, loving embrace of protection and good old-fashioned nurturing. Periodically, I hear women who narrow mindedly think that because they birthed a child, the rest of us have no idea of maternal love. Believe me, I have been looked past or ignored, and my kids were overlooked because my mom & part of my family didn’t get the concept that one can be a mom through marriage. As I like to do, is to prove narrow minded people wrong. My kids and grandkids are the best ever and we are awaiting the arrival of our first great grandson in July. We are over the moon that our family continues to grow with grands, great grands, and amazing bonus grands. The more the merrier and our sweet family is a bouillabaisse with unconditional love as the main ingredient.

The women of AdNet are amazing mom’s and maternal leaders. They nurture relationships, they love, they hold each other close and fiercely protect each other. I have the best team I could ever pray for to work with every day. So, for me, Mother’s Day is all the time as it should be. We should pay attention to our mom’s all the time. Because there will be a time that your mom or grandmother will move onto an eternal journey and I never want any of you to have regrets or say to yourself “I wish I spent more time, asked more questions, forgave her, loved her more”. We live this life only once and having your mom close by is a saving grace through the tough times. Let your mom be your gift because she’s awesome, we’re awesome!!

I wish all of you a fantastic Mother's Day doing whatever you want to make your heart and soul happy. Keep putting out our amazing maternal energy in the world because if you notice, when women with integrity run the show, all is calm.

Big hugs!

With gratitude,

Betsy Cerulo
